It's just amazingly awesome dude, I've seen a lot of Ezio's as of late (wonder how that comes : ), that's why originality only gets four stars BUT it's the best damn Ezio i've seen to date Too bad the game graphics don't look like this (yet) otherwise it would be a good movie aswell as a game. Love the intense face, looks a bit like Mel Gibson. Great looking Cowl with the red exploding feathers. If this Assassin came after me i'd definitely show a bit of emotion that resembles distress, ok fear, ok ok i'd be terrified but don't tell anyone.

I am not the gaming fan that I used to be about 10 years ago but I appreciate and am constantly in awe of the work produced by gaming artists both as concept art and the final piece.
I am saying this because I assumed that this piece by John Aslarona is inspired by a computer game. I appreciate it for what it is: a stunning piece of art. I have already left a comment to such effect but I felt the need to write something more in depth, which is why I am writing this critique.
The realism and depth of work is second to none as far as I am concerned. Actually I wouldn't mind getting an angle on how he created the feathery parts flying away. I assume it by using layer masks in some way.
All of what John produces is well thought out, created and presented. This is just another example of his huge talent.
