Wow, this is menacing! Alluring and at the same time haunting. Excellent use of colour and style. The impact relies upon that since most of Bane's face is covered, his eyes are doing all the work for the characters' facial expression.
The focus entirely on him makes a bigger impact to the viewer and shows perhaps an even more dark edge to the character than seen in the film. The blue overtones alert to his cold calculating nature whilst giving a sense of pure dread.
The eyes are an eternal feature of this piece. Provocative and yet you can't help but stare at them. Sharp and clear. Drawing the viewer in to observe the details.
Colours in terms of the correct interpretation of the character is irrelevant. You made it how you see fit. You didn't deviate too much from the actual colour pallet and yet managed to introduce a new spectrum of tones and highlights to give the image greater appeal.
I really like that you chose two light sources instead of just one, it gives much more depth to the picture. The blueish light from behind also creates a dark and kinda mystic feeling what, at least in my opinion, is really great. I really like that his face and the mask shows so many details, and I love the staring look of his eyes.
You decided to give the rest of the picture a blurred and less detailed look, what in my opinion is also a great way to keep the focus on his face and the mask. Really well done, I especially adore the mask
