This sketch is amazing!

It fits in with the "Mockingjay" theme very well, and also the "Girl on Fire" theme, as the impressively detailed flames behind Katniss make it look as if she is almost literally on fire!

Although there is a lot of fan art for "The Hunger Games" of Katniss Everdeen, especially with the "Mockingjay" theme, this is particular sketch is surprisingly original.

I am not sure which art program you used to draw this sketch, but you clearly seem to know how to make it work very well for you, as the flames are realistic, and Katniss looks very much like a real person. On the subject of Katniss, in the description you implied that this sketch is supposed to resemble Jennifer Lawrence, the actress who plays the part of Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptation of "The Hunger Games". If I am wrong about this, please excuse me. However, Katniss - and Jennifer - have longer hair than drawn in the sketch, as it is said somewhere in the first book that her hair is long enough to be braided. On the other hand, you may have drawn Katniss' hair shorter because it was singed off by the fire in the background - I do not know.

Katniss' expression in the sketch makes me feel that I am a Capitol citizen, and should be guilty for provoking the District residents, thus causing the rebellion. I also feel as if I should be fearing the Mockingjay (Katniss) and the rebels, thanks to Katniss' confident - but far from cocky - expression.

I adore this piece.
The colors in it scream mockingjay, and I love how the skin tone blends along with the fire...if that makes any sense.

Although this theme is often used, somehow when I look at this I see something original and unique. The expression is one thing I love. It shows a sense of control and power, which is amazing considering that in the book she was toyed with so much by the Capitol. This is a wonderful piece. I don't understand the eyes though, care to explain a reason behind the color?

Overall, I love this piece.
